You can install apps from the Chrome Web Store. You certainly have access to Gmail and Google Drive. Most of what we do is now browser-based, so having a computer that's just a browser might meet your needs. You see, the Chrome OS is basically just Google's Chrome browser. Yes, I know I can use an iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch to control my slideshows. Using a remote allows me to walk about the room, instead of having to click my laptop's mouse button for each slide. I've used an aging Keyspan Presentation Remote for years. Play 3 games with more updates on the way. Gaming – Sphero Mini can be used with the app as a video game controller.
